lightbox

As steel prices keep increasing, and we are always looking for ways to become more efficient, I found myself wondering why we have light poles that rise numerous meters in the air. Sure, this makes for a greater light dispersion and rises above any obstacle on the road, however I believe its time to reinvent this  ancient design.

My solution is the what I like to call, the lightbox. The main features are as follows:

  • Partially solar powered, reducing the reliance on electricity;
  • Movement sensor to allow auto turn off when an object is in front of the light for a certain amount of time;
  • Mounts to existing screw placements;
  • Unbreakable plastic face, to battle vandalism;
  • Efficient light solutions to disperse light across the road evenly, however away from drivers line of sight
  • Also act as side of the road guides, instead of reflector lights etc.
If the lightbox was to be developed, there would be an enormous potential market, especially for new subdivisions and public roads. With a worldwide audience, expansion would be very easy.

cliphanger

One of the most frustrating tasks during my usual week has to be hanging dry clothes in my wardrobe. Coat hangers just don't seem to be cutting it these days.

Why can't there be an easier way of hanging, and of course selecting clothes from your cupboard. Well, here's the solution...... The Cliphanger!

Combining form with function, and generally just making life easier. The Cliphanger includes top ring that is always connected to your wardrobe bar, and a series of different size clips, you can easily hang your clothes, choose your clothes and more importantly take them down with absolute ease.

With the ability to customise graphics, have different clip sizes and utilise different materials, the Cliphanger is an idea which could easily change the way we hang.

What do you think?
